Hard Candy
(2005) Ellen Paige plays a super badass fourteen year old girl who meets a 32 year old photographer on the internet, meets up with him, goes back to his place and then proceeds to psychologically torture him for being a pedophile.
[Directed by David Slade, who also directed 30 Days of Night]

What's great about both of these movies is that they depict average young women, who are lethal, capable, and intelligent. In other words, a more empowering, less traditional representation of womankind (in cinema). Believe me, it makes for good movies.
